Leaving a Minuet Behind

I’ve always loved travel, but there’s always the tug of the stuff you leave behind – like your bed, perhaps your family, and possibly your violin.  Wednesday’s lesson brought me the rest of my new minuet, and I am having a great time learning it.  It’s challenging, and my three days away beginning in an hour or so won’t make it any better!  But I’ve got some patience where the violin is involved, and this Bach minuet has been around a while, so I don’t think it’s going anywhere.

At least I won’t be without practice of the karate variety – it’s a karate weekend!  We’ll see what Musical Me moments I bump into in Austin, TX; the city’s famous for the stuff.
